President Trump stated on the weekend that he has extended an invitation the loved ones of a Guard member fatally shot last week to attend the executive mansion.

He mentioned that he conversed with her family and they were “devastated”.

She conducted herself with quiet strength, a contagious smile and a upbeat demeanor that lifted people around her,” Hankins, the principal of her alma mater, stated to the press. “She was caring, considerate and always willing to support those in need.”

Law enforcement have indicted a 29-year-old suspect with a charge of first-degree murder and charges of assault with intent to kill while carrying a weapon.

The incident led the government to halt asylum applications and temporarily stop providing visas to possessors of travel documents.

The airman, a resident of Martinsburg, enlisted in early 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman High, per the Associated Press.

“She had a lot of compassion and she certainly had courage,” he told the audience at the service. “Though her life lasted far too short, she has left a mark that’s going to last forever.”
